Course start dates
Courses start in August and September (Application period begins in July).
Every year, the Aitas JLPT Preparation Course starts in the month of August and September.
In July, course dates and times are set and course registration opens.

Course Description

Group JLPT Preparation
We currently offer courses for two levels (N5 & N4) in a group setting.
See One-on-One JLPT Preparation below for information on the higher levels.
Fees
- $399 plus HST (Total 16 hours)
- Course materials $25.
- Exam fees are paid separately. You must apply for the official JLPT on your own.
- Registration fee is $30.
- Registration fee is waived for continuing or returning Aitas students.
One-on-One JLPT Preparation
We do not currently offer any courses for students whose Japanese proficiency is beyond N3. For students taking JLPT N5, N4, and N3, we offer private classes. In a one-on-one learning environment, you are able to learn exam practice techniques using your own curriculum, at your own pace.
Schedule
- Between August and November
- 8 lessons, 80 minutes per class, set time
- Afternoon: 12:00pm- 1:20pm, 1:40pm- 3:00pm or 3:20pm- 4:40pm
- Evening: 5:00pm- 6:20pm or 6:45pm- 8:05pm
Fees
- Tuition (Total 10.7 hours):
- Afternoon (12:00pm & 2 pm) $480 plus HST ($45 per hour)
- Afternoon (3:20pm) $535 plus HST ($50 per hour)
- Evening (5:00pm & 6:45pm) $576 plus HST ($54 per hour)
