This Privacy Policy applies to Aitas Japanese Language School. At Aitas Japanese Language School, we respect the privacy of our users and we are committed to protecting all personal information. We take every possible measure to ensure that user information is not shared with any unauthorized third parties.

The Collection of Personal Information

We collect and store personal information supplied by users who subscribe to the e-mail newsletter, sign up for a ‘level check’ session, register for a Japanese course, place a phone call to Aitas, send a mailed letter, or send an e-mail. The information provided through any of these avenues may include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, gender, date of birth, credit card number and expiry date, and linguistic information such as your language study background, first language, or nationality (optional).

The Use of Personal Information Collected

Customers’ personal information is used for the administration of our Japanese language courses, for contact purposes should any questions need to be answered, for notifications about new services or special promotional programs, and for the accurate identification of users within our systems.

The personal information obtained helps Aitas personalize and continually improve communication with its users. All users have the right to decline to give Aitas certain information about themselves.

User Preferences

Aitas Japanese Language School provides customers with marketing and promotional materials via e-mail, mail and telemarketing. For users who prefer not to receive any materials, they may opt out and remove their information from the list by contacting Aitas Japanese Language School using any one of the contact methods outlined below.

When submitting a removal request by telephone or e-mail, customers must include all contact information ever provided to Aitas Japanese Language School (even if it is no longer current), including:

• All e-mail addresses
• All telephone numbers
• All names and addresses, including city, state/province, and postal/ZIP code

Customers may continue to receive school updates or any other information by email after the removal request has been submitted. Please note that this can occur due to timing delays in the updated computer database or due to incorrect, out of date, or duplicate contact information. Should this occur, customers are urged to phone Aitas Japanese Language School.

The Access and Amendment of Personal Information

It is important that our databases are accurate and current. To review and make appropriate changes or deletions, users must contact Aitas using one of the methods outlined below.

Security

Aitas maintains reasonable physical, technical, and procedural measures to limit the access of personal information to authorized individuals for appropriate purposes only. All forms of communication will come directly from Aitas Japanese Language School. Should any user believe that their personally identifiable information has been breached, they are urged to contact Aitas immediately.
