Dear Aitas JLPT N5 Candidates,

To start your JLPT N5 preparation, we suggest you learn and memorize the 561 vocabulary rules in this book. With an easy-to-understand format, the book is a quick read and in no time, you’ll be prepared to pass your test.

At Aitas, it is important for us to select the best materials for you to study with, which is why we created Quick Learning of the 561 Vocabulary Book for JLPT N5.

The JLPT N5 test covers 800-850 vocabularies. The good news is, you don’t have to memorize every single one. In order to properly prepare for the test in a limited period of time, you simply need to memorize the vocabularies that appear most often on the exam. Aitas has done half the work for you, narrowing down the vocabularies from 850 to 561. The 561 we’ve chosen are the ones most likely to appear on your exam.

Memorizing Your Vocabulary is the Key to Success

As your test date quickly approaches, the fastest and most efficient way to ensure a passing grade is to teach yourself the vocabularies in this book. Why? Because results have shown that it is actually easier to get a high score on the vocabulary section as opposed to any other section of the exam. And further to this, when you know your vocabulary, you naturally feel more confident about your performance in other sections including grammar, reading and listening. Vocabulary is your lifeline for solid JLPT N5 preparation.

Quick Learning of the 561 Vocabulary Book for JLPT N5

Features:

561 carefully-selected vocabularies.

Visual learning with lots of illustrations and images, making your learning experience fun and the memorization process easier with visual representations that stick in your mind!

Categorized vocabularies. We’ve linked and grouped related vocabulary rules to help you easily memorize all 561. Grouping helps you learn faster and remember longer.

Designed to help you remember your studies from regular classes.

Full vocabulary list in the back to help you learn Kanji, phrases and full sentences.

A to Z vocabulary list with English translations. As you learn, you can do quick checks right from the back of your book.

At the JLPT N5 level, there is no need to master the vocabularies but rather a need to learn and know how to apply them. Just by learning various test techniques and strategies in our JLPT preparation course, you can greatly improve your score.

Once you’ve successfully learned your vocabularies, JLPT N5 is easy.
Have fun with the Quick Learning of 561 Vocabulary Book we’ve designed for you, and look forward to positive results on your JLPT N5!

We wish you all the best!

There are a wide variety of published materials and useful online resources to help JLPT students prepare for the examination. Although it is not a requirement to attend a preparatory JLPT course, many students find that such courses help to improve their performance on the exam. It is important to familiarize yourself with useful test-taking strategies, JLPT rules and exam regulations.

Aitas JLPT Preparation Course

If you plan to take the JLPT for the first time, or if you want to increase a past score, the Aitas JLPT Preparation Course helps you build confidence and acquire the necessary skills to successfully pass the JLPT – with a high score.
Currently, we offer beginner and upper-level beginner courses for N5 and N4 in a group setting, and intermediate to advanced level courses in a private setting for N3, N2 and N1. Each JLPT preparation course is eight weeks long and begins in the month of August and September, with course registration starting in July.

We Help Students Pass the JLPT Exam and Achieve High Scores

When you involve yourself in a dedicated class of students who all work towards the same goal, you are more likely to achieve the excellent results you desire. On average (according to the old version of the JLPT in which there is a total of 400 points), Aitas students increase their scores on the JLPT by anywhere from 40 to 100 points*.

*These score improvements are based on the fact that the student attends all classes, completes all homework, and finishes all assignments. In order to achieve the highest results possible, students are encouraged not only to attend the full course, but also to perform additional study outside the classroom.

Advantages of Exam Preparation

If you have studied Japanese for some time now and you are now at a level where you are ready to write the JLPT exam (see the Requirements to know if you fit the profile), the Aitas JLPT Preparation Course can greatly benefit your learning. Exam preparation offers vocabulary and communication practice as well as grammar review, which helps you advance your skills.

Even if you do not plan to take the JLPT test, the Aitas JLPT preparatory course provides you with a solid foundation to expedite your future studies of the Japanese language.
