How to Apply

  • STEP 1:  MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR FREE LEVEL-CHECK
    We’ll determine if you are eligible and what level you should start at to receive the best learning experience.
  • STEP 2: VISIT THE AITAS SCHOOL AND TAKE YOUR LEVEL-CHECK

  • STEP 3:  SIGN UP FOR A CLASS
    When you’re ready to register, please book an appointment with us in advance. We have a well-organized appointment system to avoid unnecessary wait times. Or, if you want to sign up immediately after your level-check session, you may do so right away.

Please note:

See “Entrance Requirements” page. Before enrolling in these programs, all applicants except Aitas students take a level check with an oral interview and written test to determine program eligibility.

Registration is a first come first served basis

Sign up ahead of time and pay upfront to receive priority placement in the course of your choice.
We accept a maximum of 12 students in each class in order to maintain a high quality learning environment. Once we reach the maximum number of students per course, we do not accept any more applications. We start to accept applications in July. If you are interested in one of our courses, please schedule a level-check session around the time.

Methods of payment accepted:

Cheque, Cash, Interac (debit card), Visa, MasterCard, or money order.

Lower Rates for Aitas StudentsFor all continuing and returning Aitas students, the registration fee is waived and a reduced tuition rate is applied. Contact us for more details.

Tuition Tax Receipt

Aitas Japanese Language School is certified as an educational institution approved by Minister of the Human Resources and Social Development Canada, which means that you may be eligible to receive a tax credit for your course tuition payments. >> Click here for more information
